Over 130 Years of History

It all began in 1890 with the founding of the Académie Scientifique de Beauté by Dr. Alexandre Lamotte, with the aim of putting his experience at the service of beauty. By 1895, the brand had already won prestigious awards, notably at the Exhibitions in Dublin, Paris, and London between 1895 and 1909.

In 1936, Académie demonstrated its ambition and innovative vision by successfully incorporating collagen into a skincare cream formula. A world first that made headlines at the time and was patented worldwide. Additionally, Académie Scientifique de Beauté was the first brand to create a tinted bronzing lotion in 1960. A cult product and brand leader, the "Lotion Bronz'Express Teintée" owes its success to its unique formulation which has remained unchanged since its creation.

More recently, in 2012, the brand, with its ever innovative spirit, created a new generation anti-aging serum: the Formule Merveilleuse. A powerful and unprecedented cocktail of 57 active ingredients with a concentration of 41.7%. A new cosmetic revolution that transforms the skin for stunning results.
