The Hemp Seed adventure began in 1996, Kevin and Mare Wachs began creating quality natural personal care in their garage. Since then, the family business has become a world leader in natural personal care products. In 2013, the brand moved its headquarters to a 50,000 square foot building in Los Angeles, California. This headquarters now serves as a manufacturing and bottling plant, shipping warehouse, offices and international education center for all of its brands. This building bears witness to the commitment that the Wachs family and their team have made to the preservation of our planet.
All aspects of their organization reflect values that respect the environment. How ? From using recyclable packaging and planting trees for the future, to installing solar panels and electric car charging stations, the company is committed to significantly reducing its carbon footprint.

Why hemp oil?

Known as one of the most powerful and nutritious oils on earth, hemp seed oil has high levels of omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids (AGEs). Hemp seed oil contains the highest level of AGEs of all natural oils, which is why it was chosen by the brand. It provides nourishing protection to the skin, while the high moisture content helps repair and soften damaged skin cells. Hemp is also a sustainable crop for our planet. Hemp can grow in a variety of climates and soil types, crops grow close together so they take up as little space as possible. And the hemp plant grows without the use of pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and thrives with less water than most crops. Making it the environment's best friend and a natural way to clean up soil pollution.
MANUFACTURER'S STATEMENT : "The oil in our hemp products has been tested according to Health Canada and USDA guidelines and contains 0.00% THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). This means that all body care products with hemp seeds are 100% DRUG FREE.
