Lissa’Ô

Lissa'Ô, the French Brazilian blowout

The French Brazilian blowout LISSA’Ô was known as NATURA KERATIN until 2015. The Natura Keratin brand was created in 2008 and was the first French brand to offer Brazilian blowout and keratin straightening products. In 2015, the Nature Keratin brand changed its name and became LISSA’Ô, a French organic straightening treatment. Initially aimed at professionals, the range of straightening products quickly expanded to become Lissa’Ô Paris in 2015.

The concept of keratin Brazilian blowout by Lissa’Ô:
The main protein of the hair is Keratin, which makes up more than 90% of its structure. The Brazilian blowout from Lissa ’Ô nourishes your hair from the outside by integrating keratin through the heat of a heated iron or a blow dryer. The liquid keratin penetrates between the scales of the hair, which are opened by the shampoo, before being sealed by the heat of the plates or blow dryer.

The ingredients of the LISSA’O straightening kit:
The clarifying shampoo is made from green tea and green apple extracts. The straightening milk is made from various organic compounds. The pH regulator contains coconut milk and Wasabi. Note that LISSA’Ô products do not contain formaldehyde (or formol) or thioglycolic acid.

Who are LISSA’O products intended for?
Women are of course the main target of LISSA’Ô treatments, but they can be used by all types of people, and hair types, curly, colored, bleached, blonde, brown, chestnut, white or red. The range has also expanded to offer increasingly effective solutions based on the nature of these ladies' hair (Optima’liss, Deep Keratin, Color liss and Sebum less).

LISSA’O How to apply the Brazilian blowout?

The Brazilian blowout requires a simple method, but it must be rigorously followed to be effective; using a quality product is essential, but not sufficient to meet the expectations of long-lasting straightening.

1. The LISSA’O shampoo:
It should be done with a clarifying shampoo without sodium, choose the classic Lissa’Ô kit, because it is of good quality/price ratio. Plus, it is universal and the shampoo is included, you can also use Or et Argan products, a brand offering SLS-free shampoos.
Then, dry the hair, but not completely, the hair should be damp for the next steps.

2. The "LISSA’Ô":
Also known as keratin milk, this is the actual smoothing product. It should be applied strand by strand with a brush (silicone brush is more practical), making sure the hair is well coated without exaggeration, massaging the strands, distributing the product with a comb, and then letting it sit for 20 minutes.
Next, examine the hair. If there are roughness or irregularities, repeat the process, which may require up to 5 or 6 repetitions depending on the hair type. The most important thing is to keep the hair damp throughout this phase, as keratin only penetrates with the help of water, so get your spray bottles ready, ladies!

3. Straightening with a Flat Iron:
Dry the hair without blow-drying, then pass the strands through a flat iron set between 90 and 230°C, starting from the roots and moving towards the ends. 5-6 repetitions per strand should be enough.

4. Final Touch:
Rinse the hair, then apply the pH regulating solution, let it sit for 2 minutes, rinse again, dry, and you're all set!
